Most bathroom accessories are small things you want to see and hold first. Here is what you can order from us online, and what is worth a trip to the showroom.
Storage add-ons you can order online
Three pieces are listed on the website. They are all made to sit with a HERA vanity, in the same finishes, so nothing looks bolted on afterwards.
Waterproof Open Shelf 25cm
A narrow open shelf unit for the wall beside the basin. 250 x 700 x 170mm, PVC with a double coated matt finish, in White, Slate Grey or Milk Tea Grey. Listed at $153.
Waterproof Open Shelf 50cm
The same shelf, twice as wide. 500 x 700 x 170mm, PVC with a double coated finish, in White, Slate Grey or Milk Tea Grey. Listed at $189.
Cabinet Stand 7960S and 7920S
A pair of matt black iron stands for a vanity cabinet. One carries a towel bar, 400 x 60 x 790mm, and one is plain, 400 x 20 x 790mm. Both come together for $99.
Both shelves are showing as sold out online at the moment. Stock arrives in batches, so if you want one, ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is in the warehouse and when the next lot lands.
White, Slate Grey and Milk Tea Grey are three of the six Athena 46 cabinet colours. The other three are Ash Wood, Grey Oak and Brown Walnut. Athena 40, the slim cabinet, comes in Slate Grey, Ash Wood and Brown Walnut, so a shelf will only colour match an Athena 40 in Slate Grey. You may still see them listed as HERA 40 and HERA 46 on some product pages. They are the same cabinets.
The Athena wood-look tops are the Ash Wood Salena Top and the Brown Walnut Salena Top. Those are countertop finishes rather than cabinet colours, so there is no matching wood-look shelf.
Towel bars, hooks and paper holders
The small hardware is a showroom range, not a web range. We keep towel bars and racks, paper holders, robe hooks, clothes hangers and shower head holders on the wall in the showroom, mostly in 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, and in chrome and matt black.
We have not put these on the website, because a finish looks different in a photograph than it does in your hand, and because we price them at showroom rates while you are standing there. Come and see them, or send us a photo of your bathroom on WhatsApp and we will tell you what fits.
Why the shelves are PVC
A bathroom shelf sits in steam all day, so the material matters more than the shape. We left HERA PVC in water for three weeks next to the two materials people normally use for bathroom furniture, stainless steel and wood.
- The stainless steel rusted, and turned the whole container of water yellow.
- The wood sample grew mould.
- The HERA PVC came out undamaged.
That test was about cabinet panels, not hardware. A towel bar or a hook is solid 304 stainless steel, which is a different grade and stays fine on a wall. The point is that a big panel sitting under a basin, holding water against itself, is better off in PVC.
Getting them on the wall
Fitting is charged on top of the item. A rack is $60 and a holder is $15. If an accessory is going up on the same visit as a vanity or a mirror cabinet, say so when you order and we will put it on one job sheet instead of sending a second trip. The full price list is on the charges page.
If you are not sure the wall beside your basin is wide enough for the 50cm shelf, we can measure for you. On-site measurement takes a $30 deposit, and that $30 comes back to you when you buy.
Where the real storage is
Most people who land on this page are trying to solve clutter, and a shelf only goes so far. The vanity cabinets hold far more, and the shelf and the stand above are built to match them. Vanity price follows size, not colour, and starts at $711.
