HYBRID is our small-depth vanity range, built for narrow bathrooms where a standard cabinet sticks out too far.
Our standard Athena 46 cabinet is 455mm deep. HYBRID is 386mm, which is where the 40cm name comes from, so it gives you back about 7cm of floor space in front of the basin. In a small HDB or condo bathroom that is the difference between squeezing past the cabinet and walking past it. You still get a full soft-closing drawer underneath.
HYBRID is the Athena 40 small-depth range. You may still see them listed as HERA 40 and HERA 46 on some product pages. HERA 40 is the old name for Athena 40, which is this cabinet. HERA 46 is the old name for Athena 46, our deeper 455mm range, which is a different cabinet.
Price follows size, not colour, so a Slate Grey cabinet and a Brown Walnut cabinet of the same width cost the same, and the basin you pick does not change it either. HYBRID is $711 for the 50cm, $810 for the 60cm, and $909 for the 69cm and the 80cm. The 69cm is not listed online yet, so message us for that one. See the small-depth cabinets and current prices.
1. Pick your size
Measure the wall you want the cabinet on, then take a little off each end so the tap and the door have room. Four widths, 500, 600, 690 and 800mm.
50cm
The smallest. For a tight corner or a short stretch of wall.
60cm
The one most people take. It suits a standard HDB bathroom wall.
69cm
690mm across. A step up from the 60cm when the wall gives you a little more, without going to the full 80cm. Not listed online yet, so message us for it.
80cm
The widest. More counter beside the basin and more room in the drawer.
2. Pick your colour
Three finishes for the door panel. The cabinet body behind it is Slate Grey whichever one you pick, and all three cost the same.
Slate Grey
A soft mid grey. It keeps a small bathroom calm and it does not show splash marks.
Ash Wood
Light warm wood. The easiest of the three to match to existing tiles.
Brown Walnut
Dark and warm. It reads best against light walls and light floors.
3. Pick your basin
The basin sits into the top of the cabinet. Three to choose from on the 50cm, the 60cm and the 80cm. The 69cm takes the Apollo Ceramic only.
Apollo Ceramic
The classic. Thick, sturdy and forgiving of daily knocks.
Glossy White Tempered Glass
A slimmer rim than ceramic, so the counter looks less bulky.
Glossy Black Tempered Glass
Pairs with matt black or gun metal taps and handles.
Handles and overflow rings
Handle
The HYBRID drawer is handleless as standard, so it opens on a finger pull and nothing sticks out to catch you in a narrow bathroom. If you would rather have a handle, there are five colours.

One thing to know before you choose. The 50cm is handleless and does not take a drawer handle. The 60cm and the 80cm do. For the 69cm, ask us and we will confirm it before you order.
Overflow rings
The overflow ring is the small trim around the overflow hole in the basin. It comes in the same five finishes, Gold, Rose Gold, Gun Metal, Matt Black and Chrome, so you can match it to the handle and the tap instead of leaving one stray chrome part on show.
Mirrors and extra storage
A shallower cabinet gives up a little storage, so most people put it back on the wall above the basin. These are the sizes that pair with HYBRID.

Installation and warranty
Installing a HYBRID vanity cabinet is $180. A mirror cabinet or a side cabinet is $90 each. If you would rather we came and measured first, on-site measurement takes a $30 deposit, and that $30 comes back to you when you buy. See the full list of installation and service charges.
Register your purchase with us after delivery and your warranty is extended by an additional year. The details come with the cabinet, or message us on WhatsApp and we will send you the link.
Is HYBRID the right one for you
If your bathroom is not tight for space, a standard-depth cabinet gives you a deeper drawer and more counter for the same stretch of wall. Look through the full vanity range before you decide, or stay with the small-depth cabinets if the 386mm depth is what makes your plan work.
